Terms of Service

The agreement for running stream and video notifications with your own Discord bot, including subscription conditions and our respective responsibilities.

Effective September 20, 2026 · José Ponce Muñoz · Chile

1. Operator, scope, and agreement

These Terms of Service govern the StreamBruh website, dashboard, and hosted Discord notification service operated by José Ponce Muñoz, Chile. They explain the permitted use of the service, the responsibilities of customers and the operator, and the subscription conditions. The Privacy Policy separately explains personal information handling.

These terms are published with the effective date shown above. They apply to your use of the service to the extent validly agreed and permitted by applicable law. Publication alone does not retrospectively change an existing agreement, prove acceptance, or waive any mandatory right. Where express acceptance or advance notice is required, we will obtain it or provide that notice before the relevant change applies.

You must be at least 18 and of legal majority in your jurisdiction, have capacity to enter the agreement, and be authorized to manage the accounts, bot, and Discord server you connect. If acting for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it. Mandatory consumer protections take precedence over inconsistent provisions in these terms.

2. What StreamBruh provides

StreamBruh hosts automation that uses your own Discord bot and your configured provider credentials to detect eligible public streams and videos and deliver announcements to your selected server and channels. Features include configurable notification content, buttons, operational diagnostics, and maintenance of tracked announcements. You retain ownership and branding control of your bot application.

The current Premium offering is US$6 per month for one active Discord server. It includes up to 30 individual Twitch streamer configurations, 30 individual Kick streamer configurations, 20 YouTube channel configurations, two Twitch game/category configurations, two Kick game/category configurations, and one YouTube search configuration. These are configuration limits, not guarantees of a particular number of deliveries or results.

A seven-day free trial may be available according to the account’s eligibility. Starting a trial does not itself authorize a charge or automatically create a paid Patreon subscription. Administrative or development access grants are separate from purchased membership and do not establish a perpetual paid entitlement.

Live Twitch and Kick preview images are scheduled for refresh about every 15 minutes while eligible streams remain live. Provider publication times, caches, scheduling, and API limits can delay a visible change. Stream detection and notification delivery are periodic and are not guaranteed to be instantaneous. YouTube notifications retain their own provider-specific behavior.

The service is not an emergency notification system, a guaranteed archive, or a substitute for moderation and security tools. Availability and capabilities depend on Discord and the connected providers. We may maintain, repair, or improve the service while respecting paid commitments and mandatory rights.

3. Your account and selected server

You sign in through Discord and must keep your account secure and your authorizations current. You must not impersonate another person, use credentials without authorization, or bypass ownership and server-permission checks. Notify us promptly if you discover unauthorized use; also revoke affected credentials with the issuing provider.

One Premium membership enables one active server, not an additional server alongside a trial server. Linking a Patreon identity must comply with the service’s uniqueness checks. Do not share or relink identities to evade subscription or configuration limits. Switching the selected server may disable old configurations, require fresh provider settings, and trigger cleanup of previous notifications.

You are responsible for the accuracy of settings, destination channels, content templates, and permissions you supply. Keep copies of configurations that are important to you. We may retain configurations after access expires to permit reactivation, but this is not a promise of indefinite storage.

4. Your bot, branding, and limited authorization

You own or control the Discord application and bot you connect. StreamBruh does not acquire ownership of its name, avatar, branding, or your provider accounts. By providing credentials and saving configurations, you authorize us to use them to perform the configured notification service, necessary authentication, verification, diagnostics, maintenance, and message cleanup.

This authorization includes publishing, retrieving, updating, and deleting tracked announcements, checking relevant server and channel information, and making necessary provider API requests. It does not authorize unrelated use of your bot or the sale of your credentials. We remain responsible for our own acts and obligations; describing the bot as yours does not remove our responsibility for service operations we control.

Our invitation does not request Administrator. However, requested permissions include Read Message History and Manage Messages, and actual permissions are controlled in Discord. You must review those permissions and restrict them appropriately. The normal service does not monitor ordinary conversations, but we cannot represent that a credential has no technical powers beyond our intended workflow.

You can revoke this authorization by disconnecting the service, removing permissions, removing the bot, or rotating its token. Revocation may interrupt delivery and prevent cleanup of announcements already sent. It does not automatically cancel Patreon billing or delete independently held provider records.

5. Credentials and customer responsibilities

Provide only credentials you are authorized to use and observe each provider’s developer policies, quotas, and security requirements. You are responsible for any separate charges imposed by your own provider accounts. Do not send credentials to support by email or embed them in message templates, screenshots, or public repositories.

Stored database credential fields are encrypted, but the service decrypts credentials to operate. This is not a zero-knowledge service. You acknowledge that proper operation requires server-side use of your credentials, as described in the Privacy Policy. We must use them only for legitimate service purposes and protect them appropriately.

You are responsible for your server’s moderation, community notices, and legal basis for information you instruct us to process. Do not configure notifications or templates in a way that infringes another person’s privacy, intellectual property, or other rights. Where your use requires a separate data processing agreement or additional safeguards, arrange those before submitting the relevant information.

6. Patreon subscriptions and payment

Paid membership is intended to be purchased and managed through the authorized StreamBruh Patreon page when that integration is enabled. Until automatic membership verification is available, a displayed price is not a representation that checkout and activation are operational. The final checkout must identify the tier, billing frequency, applicable taxes or fees, currency, and any additional conditions before you pay.

The advertised base price is US$6 per month for the single-server plan. Your final amount may reflect taxes, currency conversion, or disclosed platform charges. Patreon and its payment providers process payment under their own terms. StreamBruh does not collect card details and does not control every aspect of Patreon’s billing interface or processing.

Paid access requires verification of the designated campaign and tier and current membership entitlement. A return from checkout, screenshot, matching email address, or statement that payment was made is not alone sufficient for automatic activation. You may subscribe before linking, but must then link the relevant Patreon account to your authenticated StreamBruh account.

Where checkout establishes a recurring subscription, it renews according to the billing schedule you authorize there until canceled. Manage or cancel it through Patreon’s membership controls. Deleting a configuration, leaving a Discord server, removing the bot, or signing out of StreamBruh does not cancel that recurring payment. Contact support if there is a discrepancy between verified membership and service access.

Cancellation of renewal does not by itself justify immediate loss of already verified, unexpired access. Access depends on the entitlement information provided by Patreon and applicable consumer rights. We may suspend paid features when loss of entitlement, nonpayment, or revocation is confirmed. Temporary verification failures may delay changes; any limited recovery window is not a new paid entitlement.

Price or material plan changes will be communicated before applying to future billing periods as required by law and platform rules. You may cancel before a change takes effect. We will not treat silence as consent where express consent is legally required.

7. Withdrawal, refunds, and service problems

Nothing in these terms removes mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, repair, or other consumer remedies. Refund requests concerning service access can be submitted to support, and payment-platform requests may also need to be made through Patreon. We will cooperate with the applicable payment process; using an external checkout does not extinguish our own legal duties.

Consumers in the EEA may have a 14-day withdrawal period for distance service contracts, subject to applicable conditions and lawful exceptions. Starting service during that period does not automatically waive all withdrawal rights; any required express request, acknowledgment, or proportionate charge must comply with law. Brazilian consumers may have a seven-day right to withdraw from distance contracts. Other jurisdictions, including Chile and Canadian provinces, may provide additional rights.

Outside mandatory rights and any express offer, a refund depends on the circumstances, the period of service supplied, and applicable platform rules. We do not impose a blanket “no refunds” rule. Report an incorrect charge or a material service failure with your account identifier and relevant dates, without sending payment card details.

If we permanently discontinue a paid service or terminate it for our convenience before the end of a prepaid period, we will provide the remedy required by law and, where appropriate, arrange a proportionate refund for unused service. We will take reasonable steps within our control to prevent further billing for a discontinued service and explain any cancellation steps you must complete through Patreon.

8. Acceptable use

You must not use StreamBruh for unlawful activity, harassment, threats, fraud, unsolicited mass messaging, impersonation, infringement, or distribution of malicious or deceptive material. You must not expose another person’s credentials or private information, use accounts or servers without authorization, or configure the bot to evade platform moderation or enforcement.

Do not bypass payment, configuration, rate, or concurrency limits; interfere with other customers; probe systems without authorization; disrupt providers; or exploit a fault to duplicate messages or obtain access you are not entitled to use. Good-faith security reports are welcome through support, without public disclosure of secrets or unnecessary access to other people’s information.

You must comply with relevant Discord, Twitch, Kick, YouTube/Google, and Patreon terms and applicable law. A provider may independently restrict your account or API access. We may restrict configurations that cannot be operated lawfully or reliably, subject to the notice and remedy provisions below.

9. Suspension and termination

We may investigate, restrict, suspend, or terminate access where we reasonably determine that you materially breached these terms, used unauthorized credentials, created a security or abuse risk, failed to maintain a required entitlement, or caused us to violate law or a provider’s requirements. The response should be proportionate to the nature and seriousness of the issue.

Where practical and appropriate, we will explain the issue and provide an opportunity to correct it. We may act immediately where necessary to prevent harm, protect security, comply with law, or address serious or repeated abuse. We may limit details if disclosure would compromise an investigation, another person’s rights, or a legal obligation.

You may contact support to challenge a decision or provide additional information. Our discretion is subject to mandatory law, non-discrimination requirements, good faith, and any refund or consumer remedy owed. This clause does not give us an unlimited right to keep payment while arbitrarily refusing the contracted service.

When access ends, new notifications and preview updates may stop and tracked announcements may be queued for removal. Cleanup depends on retained permissions and provider availability and may fail. Configurations may remain for recovery subject to the Privacy Policy. Termination does not automatically erase accrued obligations or records lawfully retained, and you should check your Patreon cancellation status.

10. Third-party services and availability

StreamBruh is independent of Discord, Twitch, Kick, YouTube/Google, and Patreon and is not represented as endorsed by them. Their names identify integrations. Their APIs, content, billing, permissions, moderation decisions, outages, and changes are outside our complete control.

We cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, an exact notification time, an always-current provider image, or successful delivery or deletion of every message. API limits, stale data, permission changes, network failures, and provider outages can affect results. We will use reasonable care in operating the service and addressing issues within our control.

We may temporarily pause operations to respect API limits or prevent duplicate delivery. Where publication status is uncertain, avoiding a duplicate may require delaying or withholding an automatic retry. A diagnostic status is not a guarantee that a third-party platform has completed a requested action.

11. Content and intellectual property

You retain rights you hold in your bot branding and original templates. You grant us only the rights necessary to host, process, transmit, display, and maintain that material as part of the requested service and its necessary backups and administration. That permission does not transfer ownership or grant a general right to commercially reuse your branding.

Streamers, video creators, and platforms retain their rights in their content, names, images, and marks. Selecting a public stream does not grant you ownership of it or unlimited reuse rights. You are responsible for having the permissions required for your configured use; we may remove or restrict material in response to a substantiated rights complaint or legal obligation.

StreamBruh’s software, design, and original service materials remain the property of their respective owners, subject to applicable open-source licenses. Your subscription grants access to the hosted service, not ownership of its code or an unrestricted license to resell it.

12. Responsibility and legal limits

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Except for express commitments and mandatory legal warranties, we do not promise that it will satisfy every individual purpose or operate without any interruption or error. You should not rely on it for safety-critical decisions, guaranteed revenue, or preservation of the only copy of important information.

To the extent permitted by law for business customers, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses caused solely by events outside our reasonable control. Responsibility for foreseeable direct loss, and any applicable limits, remains subject to governing law and the particular circumstances. This section does not establish an unlimited waiver of liability.

No exclusion applies where prohibited by law, including liability that cannot be excluded for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, mandatory consumer guarantees, or applicable data protection duties. Consumer rights are not limited merely because the service is described as dependent on third-party platforms.

You remain responsible for losses caused by your own unlawful or unauthorized use to the extent established under applicable law. We do not require consumers to indemnify us for our own misconduct or to surrender statutory remedies.

13. Governing law and disputes

Chilean law governs the agreement to the extent permitted by applicable conflict-of-law and consumer rules. This choice does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections in their habitual place of residence where those protections apply.

Please contact support first so that we can try to resolve a dispute. This is not a condition that prevents you from making a timely complaint to a regulator or bringing a lawful claim. Competent courts are determined by applicable law, including any consumer right to bring proceedings where the consumer resides. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue only to the extent legally permissible. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. Any transfer of our contractual position must respect applicable law and must not improperly diminish your consumer rights.

14. Changes, notices, and contact

We may revise these terms to reflect service changes, legal requirements, or security needs. We will identify the effective date and give appropriate advance notice of material changes where required. Changes will not retroactively eliminate accrued rights. If express acceptance is required, we will obtain it rather than relying only on a footer link.
